It is the 1st day of June today.
Many people seem to like it.
I don't know why..
As for me, I prefer to skip through this month and jump to July straighaway if God is willing to give me a chance to do so! :/
Because I have my final exams in 6 days time!

I don't think I am well-prepared.so...FML!
So here I am..decided to take a short break.
Seriously it is suffocating and tiring and sickening and the worse is, I don't have the mood to study!HELLO..I have less than 1 week time and I am still slacking around...argghhhhh!
And I can't sleep well!
That cause me to have dark circle and eye bag!
I know I already have it but now it is even worse! :/
Anyone wants to buy me some eye cream and eye mask? :/

Anyway I went to have a hair cut last Sunday.
Because my hair is really shitty already.
It is damn dry and the colour is like don't know what kind of shit colour. :/
Just cut it shorter and I plan to dye my hair....AGAIN...after my exam. :/
Look kinda old in this hair!
But nevermind, it will still grow and it is good to see my hair shorter now and my hair doesn't fall that much when I blow dry it!

And.......there is one thing similar between me and my niece..hahahahha.

Who will u turn to when u are upset or sad?
Who can u trust in your life when u don't seem to trust anyone around u?
When u have no one to talk to, what would u do?

Even when u have someone to talk to, u don't exactly know how to start the conversation or how to put it in words or proper sentences to tell that someone how u feel.

Even when u have tell them about your problem, they won't exactly know or understand the situation because that is how u feel, not how they feel.

....and what happens even if they know what is happening?

Does it helps to reduce your burden and worries?
Does it helps to stop u from being emo again?

I think I have just turned into an emo queen again.

DAMN!

Good thing there is my niece to cheer me up at least.
Their innocence and sillyness just make me laugh.

They are growing up real fast..and it means that I am getting older..
It is a bliss to see them growing up..they are growing taller..their knowledge is wider and beyond your expectations..
I hope they will still be as close to me as now when they are already a teenager or adult next time.♥

MICHAEL LEARNS TO ROCK's concert was awesome!!!

OMG!I love them so much especially the lead singer!
When he sings those songs, gosh....
My heart melts man!
How I wish the concert would end later because they are too awesome already! :(

I've been hearing their songs since I was very young.
Perhaps around 6 or 7 years old.
Cause my parents bought their karaoke VCDs and I used to sing it alone or with my sister.
Since then, I knew of their existence!HAHA!

Jascha, the lead singer is kinda funny.
He made some funny lame jokes.LOL!
He said Michael never really learns how to rock, that is why he will be singing a slower song.LOL!

When I first tell my mum that I want to go for their concert, she was like...
"U are paying money to hear old man singing" in a joking way.LOL!
But they are not old, they are cool and AWESOME!!!!!!

Me and fatty screamed like mad people!And I sing until no voice.LOL!

How I wish I could hug him when he came down from the stage!At least to take a picture with him or them! :/

I miss them!!
If they are coming next year, I will absolutely go to their concert again and that time, I would buy a VVIP seat!!!LOL!!

Today is already the week 6 of my studies!
Time passes really fast.it is scary don't u think so?!
With a blink of an eye, it is already APRIL!!
And with a blink of both eyes, I think June is coming already. =_______=

I hate APRIL!
Cause my mid-sem test is coming soon!
And the one I worried the most is my Finance Derivatives Securities paper.
The mid-sem test itself is already 50%!
Once the mid-sem cacat, means I am ki chia already.argghhhh!!
This is scary and until now, I am very very blur about this subject starting from Topic ONE.
Am I terrible or not?!!How could this happen to me? T.T

Today is the end of February.

But it is the starting of my new semester.

Not a good date to start a new semester I think.

I don't like it! =/

I hate my college now!

It is like a night market nowadays.

The college is so crowded with people and the library..goshh..no place to sit at all..

Why my parents insisted to ask me to study here last time?Sigh.....

And I am now living in a new place.

No more staying in Inti Hostel..last time I used to complain how bad it is and etc but now I miss it!

I've been lying on my bed for more than 1 hour and I can't sleep.this kind of situation is torturing and I am wasting my time! :(

Tang Yuan festival!

It is the Winter Solstice Festival (Dong Zhi)!
Every year, my parents and I will do this round glutinous flour balls (tang yuan).
I usually don't like to eat this tang yuan but I just like to drink the soup.haha.

Actually I don't know what is the meaning of "tang yuan" but I googled it.haha.
Eating tang yuan on Dong Zhi represents family reunion and also signifies family unity and family prosperity.
HAHA.now I know why my mum insisted me to eat tang yuan!

...and my dad asked my mum to do a mixture of white, pink and green colour tang yuan!haha.it is kinda nice actually..its like a marshmallow colour!so cute!

YES!!
I've passed in every subjects!
It was such a miracle.
Wonder how did I managed to get such score.

And I actually bluff my sis that I've failed in my finance paper and at that time, my mum haven't know about my result..and this silly sis of mine called my mum and asked whether she knows about it and wondering whether did I cry for the whole night.

This silly sis of mine then called me and consoled me.
and I can't stand it anymore and LOL.then she was like...
HAHAHAHAHAHA.
but too bad.she had called my mum.
and when she called back my mum to tell her the truth ( I was not at home ), my mum was sobbing already.
She was worried that I'll sad and cry til don't know when due to the emotional breakdown that I went throughout the exam period.
I feel so touched and sorry at the same time.

Don't u think so that our lifestyle and thoughts have changed drastically compared to our mum and grandma's time of life?
My grandma and mum used to tell me about their stories when they were young.
I know my mum have went through a lot in her life especially after she was married to my dad.
They have gone through hardship but still they managed to get through it together without giving up.
Or else I wouldn't have what I have now.I wouldn't live a life like this without them.

My main point here is who can once again follow our mama, grandma, ancestors footsteps to fully love and to bear with those sufferings with a man who they truly love?

Based on what ChunKit had asked me and based on what I have actually witnessed around me, people are getting more materialistic.
Just like the 5C's of Singapore; Cash, Car, Credit Card, Condominium, and membership of Country club, we can see that without the 5 C's or any Cs, girls would actually think twice before starts to date with that particular guy.

Correct me if I am wrong.
Yes. I am a girl myself.
Of course I would want to have a rich husband next time, to have my own big wardrobe specially for my clothes, bags, heels,...

Who wouldn't want that huh?
But honestly, are we blinded by the name of wealth rather than blinded by the name of love?

This semester's timetable seems weird to me.

Its like...so empty..

The lecture and tutorial for every subjects are combined and 1 shot 3 hours.

And this is my week 4 now but my mind seems to be so blank.

Nothing is kept in my head. =/

But I'll have my Law test and Finance quiz this week and 1 terrible assignment to be submit on the 1st week of June.

My coursemates and I are so "stressed out"..

So.....ahemmm...

As most of you have known, 4 of my gigiS are gone due to the tooth extraction for my braces.

...and yeah I've make a big fuss about cabut gigi.

Hey it was scary ok?

The moment I stepped in the room I was so scared and even my mum was worried like hell.

But luckily it was not as pain as what I thought la or else..I'm gonna be so dead!

I'm going to wear the braces on this coming 17th!!!NERVOUS & exicted sial!

Wonder how would I look like with the braces on....HAHA.

...and the worst is...Sam told me I can't eat chewing gum and drink soft drinks when I wear braces.

So WTF right? =/

Everyone wants a perfect love life.

But who can get it?

No One to be exact.

Yeah.I admit.

I am one of those silly girls dreaming of a wonderful love life especially after watching some romance movies or dramas.

That is why our mind are needed to be detoxified!

Everyday is a fairytale but only when we are dreaming!

Nowadays, people are demanding for fireworks, sparkles or some sort of complicated chemistry in their relationship.

Yes.I am one of them.

Who wants a dull relationship?

But as your anniversaries move from the 3rd to the 4th year or 4th to the 5th year and the list goes on, you'll realised that it is quite impossible to maintain the sparks in reality.

In order to go on, face it and deal with it or else you'll come out with a list of your BF/GF names.

Yeah.I know I change bf for a couple of times. =_=

i know.mine should be love storIES.

Everything has changed.

I wonder how our parents, grandparents, ancestors maintain with only one partner in their whole life.clean record.

It is hard to find a couple who can marry with their first love.

Extinct already lah hor.

Sometimes I do think being in a relationship is troublesome.

Firstly, you need to commit in it IF you are longing for an everlasting relationship.

Seriously, commitment is a very serious issue and involvement in a relationship.

I know I failed in this in my previous relationship.I'm sorry.

Commitment is not just about ABC or 123..

It is about you taking your responsibility as a BF/GF of your partner and to love your partner unconditionally.

...and of course it is not a responsibility to love someone.don't get me wrong!

Maybe some of you might define commitment in your own perceptions and it depends on how u define or want it to be.

...and if you think it negatively, commitment is a burden.

Yes.I do think it is sometimes.

As for freedom, phewwww~~

This is darn important!

How can one live without freedom?

That is why I put "chiewbee wants to be a freEeee beEeee" in my msn.

But what does freedom means in terms of relationship?

Freedom of being able to hang out with anyone you like?

To do whatever you want, to flirt with anyone, to be free of being controlled, to have your own precious time,..basically....to do anything you want without being tied up!

Sometimes, you don't even actually realise you are stealing the freedom of your loved ones because you are blinded by the word LOVE.

I know not all GFs/BFs would take away their partner's freedom.

..and nowadays I bet most of the couples are giving freedom (limited) to each other.

This is a healthier relationship.at least for me.

But somehow, I do think that freedom will be taken away.

I know I am selfish.

However, when you found someone who loves you a lot and you love him/her a lot too, things might change.

Be it the way you act or think.

..and of course, if you seriously think that he/she is your Mr/Mrs.Right, do not let go this potential relationship as you might not find someone like him/her anymore.

It all depends on how far or deep your are able to commit or give in your relationship.

There is no such thing as who gives more or who gives less.

It can't be measured.

Today was the first day of my final!

...and after so many days of doing revision in this Accounting Financial subject, I think I've done quite badly..kinda disappointed when I walked out from the hell...

31st of May 2010,

I've had an outing with my coursemates..a way to pamper and to enjoy ourselves after we passed up our last assignment of this sem (except for ksen)!

We went to sing at Neway which is newly open in Queensbay Mall.damn nice!

It looks so luxurious and way better than RedBox!I love it!!!

After the 2 hours+ of singing session, we decided to go to Youth Park.

I've never been there before and that place is really nice and I would love to go there agaiN!!

There are swimming pool, playground, skating area, etc..definitely a great place for u to exercise and to chill yourself!

...and of course our lovely papa KaySen took pictures of us...hehehe..

it was real hard to do this water effect..LOL!

well...

i tend to smile like a donald duck and i always smile that way whenever i take picture.

it has been a habit.when i look at the camera i would automatic smile widely without showing off my teeth..its AUTOMATIC k?LOL.

the reason is simply because i have crooked teeth and a pair of very obvious tiger tooth!

purposely show my ugly gigiiii..this pict very gigiishhh

everytime when i spotted people with a great smile showing their perfect gigi, heyy..i'm jealous k..LOL..and i am very regret that i gave up wearing braces when i was in secondary school (i'm afraid of the painess that i have to bear with!)

2 nights with my loved ones ^^

I get to spend my 2 lovely nights with my two lovely darlings.
Each darling for 1 night.. :p

My brother-in-law was outstation. So, my sis asked me to sleep over at her house to help her to babysit her two lovely monsters.
At first I was quite reluctant to stay over because I want to do revision for my upcoming midsem test, but what to do..I'm a good sister..haha..gotta help my sis la since my mum is not around for 2 days.

So, for the first night, I slept with my second niece.
Gosh...=___________= she talked a lot..hell a lot..kept on asked me to talk with her and said she cannot sleep..she learnt some hokkien words from her kindergarten i supposed and asked me what does those hokkien words mean..it was damn funny...she even requested for bedtime stories..=_______=
Then I ma tell her about Snow White lo(i know it is lame but I run out of ideas) but after I tell halfway, she said she wants some monster stories..LOL....
After that, i beh tong already...i asked her to count from 1-100...and she did..but she still said she can't sleep..walao....then at last drag til 11.30p.m only she fell asleep.that also i pat her butt and thigh non-stop.LOL.
...and u know what...she can rotate 360degrees when she is sleeping...lol..i wonder how she managed to do that..lol..got once, her feet was on my brother-in-law's face when they both were sleeping..geng or not??!!hahaha.

So..that was the first night...
When it comes to the second night, my first niece wanted to sleep with me as I promised her that I would sleep with her that night..
Before my sis close the door, she said, "Ehhh..later don't talk to her or else u will know..." with a big wicked grin on her face.LOL..

Then I tried not to talk with her and I purposely close my eyes lo..she sleep til very near with me and as I opened my eyes, her face was so near with mine and it makes me burst into laughter and we both laughed like mad girls.LOL..she kept on make me laugh and laugh and laugh..she told me some funny stuffs which obviously doesn't make sense at all and again, we both laughed together again..til around 11.10p.m., she managed to fall asleep..ahhaa..

Well...

It is really fun and happy to sleep with them..my first time..hahaha.

Looking at them while they are sleeping makes me smile..they are so cute and I feel pinching or kiss their cheek when they are alseep..

I can feel the bahagianesss in me when they sleep beside me.LOL..

I really love them though sometimes they annoyed me to the maximum when they disturb me during my sleeping or busy time.

They definitely bring out the best in them without having to act or to pretend..they truly smile when they are happy and they will cry when they are being scolded or when they are angry...

They are just so real..kids are so naive that u would laugh at their sillyness and can't help but to love them..awwww.....i want to be a good mother next time!!!HAHAHHAHA..

i sneaked out after my first niece was alseep to do some revisions :p

That 2 nights meant a lot to me.

My sister just came back from Beijing a few days ago and she bought me an orignal Hard Rock Cafe's jacket from there.
It is red in colour and she said, "Seeeee..your gift is the most expensive one..I didnt buy for kor kor they all also.."....LOL...membangga-banggakan her present at there..beh tong!!
But I prefer her hard rock t-shirts.. :/
She is like collecting a whole series of hard rock t-shirts..every countries that she goes, she would buy from there.
Next time I wanna travel to many many countries!!!!!I WANNA BE RICHHHHH!!!!!!!!!hahah.

Kartun dan Pendidikan Alam Sekitar dalam kalangan Kanak-kanak

Isu-isu yang berkaitan dengan alam sekitar sering dijadikan topik perbualan dalam kalangan masyarakat pada zaman ini. Masalah pencemaran alam sekitar ini terjadi atas keabaian, sikap tidak ambil berat tentang kualiti alam sekitar dan eksploitasi manusia sendiri. Untuk menyedarkan kalangan orang ramai tentang sebab dan implikasi mengenai isu ini , informasi dan pendidikan haruslah diberi kepada masyarakat. Usaha pendidikan alam sekitar ini bukan sahaja ditujukan kepada orang dewasa sahaja, malah ia juga mementingkan pendidikan kepada kanak-kanak. Hal ini kerana kanak-kanak merupakan tunggak negara masa depan dan mereka juga mempunyai tanggungjawab untuk menjaga dunia yang bakal ditadbir oleh mereka.

Pendidikan alam sekitar adalah amat penting demi pembangunan negara kita pada masa depan. Kita semua mengetahui tentang hubungan alam sekitar dengan manusia. Manusia mesti hidup saling bergantung dengan alam sekitar dan menggunakan bahan-bahan daripadanya untuk meneruskan kehidupan.# Seperti yang digambarkan dalam sistem ekologi, alam sekitar merupakan elemen yang penting di mana manusia mendapat makanan, bahan api, serta gas oksigen untuk meneruskan kehidupan. Untuk meningkatkan kesedaran masyarakat tentang isu ini, pendidikan alam sekitar haruslah dimulakan sejak awal lagi. Bak kata pepatah, melentur buluh biarlah dari rebungnya. Jadi, kita haruslah menekankan kepentingan konsep ini dan membentuk kefahaman dalam kalangan kanak-kanak supaya mereka sedar tentang kepentingan keseimbangan alam sekitar dan kewajipan mereka untuk menjaga persekitaran demi kesejahteraan sejagat.

Dalam usaha menyedarkan masyarakat daripada terus menyumbang kepada pencemaran, pendidikan alam sekitar dilaksanakan. Untuk menjayakan program ini, banyak pendekatan telah digunakan seperti kempen, penerapan dalam sistem pendidikan dan lain-lain. Dalam esei ini, kami akan menbincangkan salah satu daripada pendekatan yang digunakan iaitu melalui rancangan kartun dan bagaimana kita boleh menjalankan pendidikan alam sekitar dalam kalangan kanak-kanak melalaui pendekatan ini.

Menurut Schramm, televisyen merupakan media yang memenuhi masa kelapangan kanak-kanak. Pada umur 3 tahun, purata masa kanak-kanak menonton televisyen adalah lebih banyak daripada masa yang digunakan untuk mendengar cerita. Sebelum kanak-kanak menghadir ke sekolah, masa mereka menggunakan televisyen adalah jauh lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan media lain. 9 daripada 10 kanak-kanak menonton televisyen sekurang-kurangnya 2 jam sehari dan 8 daripada 10 kanak-kanak menonton rancangan televisyen sebelum mereka mula menyuarakan perkataan pada bahan cetakan. Pada 10 tahun kebelakangan ini, televisyen merupakan media yang akan mereka gunakan setiap hari dan ¾ daripada kanak-kanak akan menonton televisyen setiap hari.# Dalam buku yang sama juga, beliau mengatakan bahawa kebanyakan kanak-kanak belajar daripada televisyen, kejadian ini dikatakan sebagai “incidental learning” dan hal ini membawa maksud bahawa proses pembelajaran akan mengambil tempat apabila penonton menggunakan televisyen untuk mendapatkan hiburan dan menyimpan informasi tentang sesetengah maklumat secara tidak langsung. # Hal ini menunjukkan kanak-kanak dapat belajar daripada rancangan yang ditonton oleh mereka. Jadi, jika rancangan kartun yang membawa mesej tentang kepentingan keseimbangan alam sekitar disiar dan ditonton oleh mereka, mereka dapat menyerap mesej-mesej yang ingin disampaikan oleh rancangan itu.

Minat memainkan peranan yang penting dalam kehidupan seseorang individu dan mempunyai impak yang kuat terhadap tingkah laku dan sikap individu itu. Perkara ini dapat dilihat dengan lebih ketara pada zaman kanak-kanak. Pada zaman kanak-kanak , minat memberi motivasi untuk belajar. Jika mereka disalurkan dengan sesuatu yang mereka minat, mereka dapat merasai keseronokan dalam aktiviti itu dan mempunyai keinginan untuk melakukan aktiviti itu lagi.# Rancangan kartun merupakan racangan yang ditujukan kepada kanak-kanak dan pasti dapat menarik minat mereka. Dengan penggunaan warna yang cerah dan watak-watak yang menarik, perhatian kanak-kanak dapat ditarik. Dengan menggunakan cara ini, mesej-mesej tentang penjagaan alam sekitar diselitkan dalam jalan cerita rancangan kartun supaya kanak-kanak dapat mempelajari nilai-nilai ini secara tidak langsung di samping melakukan perkara yang mereka minati.

Dalam satu kajian, didapati bahawa minat kanak-kanak dapat dipertingkatkan berdasarkan apa yang mereka nampak dan keterbukaan mereka terhadap idea baru serta kefahaman mereka terhadap dunia luar akan diperluaskan, akan tetapi jika imej yang dipaparkan dalam televisyen adalah meterialistik dan stereotaip, nilai-nilai sebegini juga akan diresap oleh kanak-kanak.# Hal ini bermakna bahawa kanak-kanak dapat meresap apa-apa sahaja yang disiarkan tanpa penapisan. Sebaliknya, jika nilai-nilai yang baik seperti penjagaan alam sekitar, dan nilai-nilai moral disiarkan dalam televisyen secara berterusan, ia juga dapat diresap oleh kanak-kanak.

Himmelweit juga berkata bahawa kanak-kanak mendapatkan pengetahuan daripada televisyen, mereka mungkin masih mempunyai minat dalam topik yang disiarkan sebelum ini. Mereka mungkin akan mempunyai perasaan penyertaan tentang dunia luar melalui informasi dan nilai yang dibelajar dalam sesetengah rancangan.# Dengan menyelitkan nilai-nilai kepentingan alam sekitar dan sikap yang harus diamalkan oleh masyarakat di dalam watak-watak rancangan kartun, kanak-kanak dapat mempelajari apa yang patut dilakukan oleh manusia dalam mengatasi masalah-masalah seperti yang ditunjukkan dalam rancangan itu dan seterusnya mempraktikkannya dalam kehidupan seharian.

Selain itu, kanak-kanak juga bercenderung untuk meniru kelakuan watak yang dipaparkan. Banyak kajian membuktikan bahawa dalam sesetangah keadaan, kanak-kanak akan meniru kelakuan watak-watak yang disukai. Dalam rancangan kartun yang membawa mesej alam sekitar, mereka akan meniru aksi hero yang positif itu. Secara tidak langsung, nilai-nilai menjaga alam sekitar dapat diterapkan dalam diri kanak-kanak.

Takeo Furu menggunakan idea Schramm yang mengatakan bahawa kanak-kanak boleh belajar daripada isi kandungan rancangan televisyen yang disiarkan berdasarkan 5 prinsip iaitu: kanak-kanak lebih memberi perhatian kepada fakta atau tingkah laku yang disiarkan jika benda itu adalah baru kapada mereka, perkara yang disiarkan perlulah benar dan bebas daripada campur tangan orang dewasa, watak-watak haruslah diidentifikasi, ia adalah berguna jika ia dapat memenuhi keperluan kanak-kanak dan kanak-kanak akan lebih cenderung untuk belajar dan bertindak atas perkara yang mereka percaya akan membawa kesan yang mereka hendaki.# Rancangan kartun telah memenuhi syarat-syarat ini dan merupakan satu cara yang berkesan unuk kanak-kanak dalam mempelajari tentang penjagaan alam sekitar.

Dalam esei ini , kita akan memberikan fokus kepada rancangan kartun yang bertajuk “ The Prince And The Coral Sea” yang dihasilkan oleh Dr. Ikeda Daisaku. Rancangan kartun ini merupakan salah satu daripada siri animasi Dr., Ikeda yang berbunyi “Like Me, Like You : The World in Your Heart” yang telah mendapat anugerah Anak TV Broadcaster’s untuk Southeast Asian Foundation for Children’s Television pada tahun 2005. Anugerah Anak TV Broadcaster ini merupakan kehormatan tertinggi yang diberikan oleh broadcaster dari Filipina kepada sumbangan penerima anugerah terhadap rancangan yang disiarkan di Filipina, terutamanya rancangan kanak-kanak. Cerita-cerita yang dihasilkan oleh Dr. Ikeda telah diterjemahkan kepada banyak bahasa dan sesetengah daripadanya telah dianimasikan untuk menjadikan filem atas pengaruh positif yang dapat disampaikan oleh cerita itu. Filem-filem yang terpilih dari siri ini pernah disiarkan di 23 buah negara termasuk India, Iceland, Sepanyol, Australia dan lain-lain. Rancangan kartun ini juga disiarkan pertama kali di Malaysia dalam NTV7 bermula pada 5 Disember 2009 daripada pukul 1.30 petang hingga 2.00 petang dengan kerjasama bersama Persatuan Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM). Persatuan ini merupakan satu organisasi Buddha yang berusaha untuk mencapai kedamaian masyarakat dengan mempromosikan budaya dan pendidikan. Rancangan kartun ini disiarkan dalam bahasa kantonis dan disertakan dengan sari kata bahasa Melayu di Malaysia.

Dalam kartun ini, Ray, iaitu watak utama tinggal di sebuah pulau di Okinawa, Jepun. Pada suatu hari, dia nyaris-nyaris lemas ketika berenang di dalam laut dan diselamatkan oleh seekor ikan duyng yang tinggal di dalam laut itu. Mereka menjadi kawan karib selepas kejadian itu. Ikan duyung memberitahu Ray dalam salah satu perjumpaan mereka bahawa penduduk di atas pulau itu telah merosakkan keseimbangan alam sekitar dengan menebang terlalu banyak pokok dan memusnahkan batu karang yang terdapat di dalam laut. Sekiranya keadaan ini diteruskan, penduduk pulau akan menerima padahnya. Dia berharap bahawa Ray dapat menolongnya untuk menghalang kejadian ini daripada menjadi lebih teruk lagi. Ikan duyung juga memberitahu Ray bahawa dia memiliki hati yang ikhlas dan memberi Ray sebiji cangkerang siput yang mempunyai kuasa ajaib dan boleh memberikan Ray kuasa untuk menyembuhkan penyakit. Akan tetapi, terdapat kesan negatif yang akan ditanggung oleh Ray jika dia menggunakan kuasa itu. Malangnya, ahli keluarga Ray telah jatuh sakit ketika itu dan Ray telah menggunakan karang itu untuk mengubati penyakit ahli keluarganya. Kesannya, rambut Ray telah menjadi putih dan badannya menjadi lemah akibat daripada tenaga yang digunakan olehnya. Ray teringat akan amaran yang diberikan oleh ikan duyung dan cuba untuk menghalang mereka daripada terus memusnahkan hutan tetapi kata-katanya tidak dihirau oleh penduduk. Pada suatu hari, bencana alam iaitu tsunami telah melanda pulau itu akibat daripada perbuatan mereka yang merosakkan alam sekitar. Ray berasa cemas dan risau tentang nasib yang akan menimpa penduduk pulau itu. Tanpa berasa ragu-ragu, dia pun menggunakan kuasa cangkerang siput itu untuk menyelamatkan penduduk pulau itu. Oleh sebab tenaga yang banyak telah digunakan oleh Ray, akhirnya dia terkorban dan menjelma sebagai sebutir bintang di atas langit.

Pandangan terhadap rancangan kartun ini juga amat positif. Kebanyakan penonton berpendapat bahawa rancangan kartun ini telah membawa impak bukan sahaja terhadap kanak-kanak tetapi juga terhadap orang dewasa. Seorang pelajar darjah 3 berkata bahawa dia telah mempelajari cara untuk menjaga alam sekitar melalui rancangan kartun ini.# Ramai yang meninggalkan pendapat mengatakan bahawa anak mereka berasa terharu dengan kelakuan hero dan ingin melakukan usaha untuk menjaga alam sekitar secara suka rela. Mereka juga meminta pihak NTV7 supaya terus menyiarkan rancangan sebegini untuk menberi kesedaran kepada penonton tentang kepentingan keseimbangan alam sekitar dan menerapkan nilai-nilai murni ini dalam kalangan kanak-kanak.

Secara lazimnya, kanak-kanak mula terdedah kepada televisyen sejak berumur 2 tahun lagi melalui pemerhatian terhadap rancangan televisyen yang ditonton oleh ahli keluarga. Pada umur 3 tahun, mereka berupaya untuk memilih rancangan dan hero kegemaran mereka terutamanya hero dalam kartun animasi dan program yang mengandungi unsur dan aksi yang banyak#. Oleh sebab itu, pendekatan pendidikan alam sekitar kepada kanak-kanak melalui rancangan kartun merupakan suatu tindakan yang wajar. Sekiranya kanak-kanak mampu memberi sumbangan mereka terhadap alam sekitar pada masa hadapan, maka matlamat untuk mejayakan pembangunan lestari akan tercapai.

This natural disaster has killed so many lives and millions of people are homeless now.
They don't deserve anything like this right?
...and the recent dragonboat incident which has killed 5 students and a teacher of Chung Ling High School was terrifying..
Seeing this kind of news make me wonder why do we have to die when we have the chance to live?

Last 2 days, I received a bad news from my sister.
My cousin's husband had passed away due to an accident.he was crashed by a lorry.
I feel so sad and terrible for her family.
She has two children and the eldest child cried like there is no tomorrow.her father adores her the most and even promised to buy her a present if she get good result in her UPSR this year..and what happen??
He was 43 years old and I can say he was the most good looking one among my relatives.he was really a good husband and a good father.
Sigh....I never thought this would happen to any of my relatives..last year, her brother just passed away..in less than 1 year time, this happen again...what a tragedy.. =((
May he rest in peace and hopefully the family especially my cousin would stay strong to support her two children..

Life is really short and u wouldn't know what would happen tomorrow.
Pls..pls appreciate everyone around u and pls drive carefully..be aware of other drivers as well.

2009 had came to an end and today is the beginning of year 2010!
Well, to be frank 2009 is my worst year ever! [BUT it was good in certain extent]
A lot of things had happened..a lot of things had changed...a lot of OMG and oooohhhh and aahhhh...
I shed a lot of tears of sorrow, I scolded the word FUCK the most this year(LOL), lots of ups and downs..every month had its own stories and histories.
Anyhow I still love myself and love my life. =))

Actually I do not have any new year resolution for the past few years but I would like to have it this year!
I want to make my life far more interesting and a meaningful one! =))
So here is a list of my new year resolutions.......................

1) Sleep earlier every night!!not exceeding 1am at least!

2) Become thinner and slimmer and control my consumption of food.LOL.gotta control my weight and no more elephant legs this year (which is quite impossible)!

3) To reduce my eyes dark circle!

4) To get all HDs or at least Ds in the next few semesters!!STUDY STUDY STUDY!!!

5) To have a healthy lifestyle! (I seriosuly need to workout!!)

Finally~~

I've done my management assignment!Another burden has been washed off my shoulder! ;)

Recently bad luck seems to haunting me!

Hueywen, now i understand how do u feel! :(

My right eye always give me problem.cacated eye...

Luckily this time just need to apply medicine on it or else..grrrr..!commit suicide!

Then my toe has this urm....usually people known it as "kai ngan" in cantonese, so when it tranlates to english, it becomes "chicken eye". LOL.what a name huh?

So there is a CHICKEN EYE on my toe.

At first it is small and I thought it would be fine but it started to feel pain.

So I bought one type of plaster specialised for this chicken eye but it seems to be more cacat.

After I took off the plaster yesterday, my mum helped me to peel the skin and even take a small scissors to cut it.I was like wth.....scissors u know??This time really OMG.

Then she started to peel it off and there were one part where she use the scissors to try to cut it away, it pains like hell and my tears..blaaaaaaaaaaaaaa out already.my niece even hold my hand.LOL.as if I am preparing to give out birth huh?ahaha.

my niece took this before I cried.LOL

At last decided to see doctor.damn scared.later have to cut that thing away or operate.but luckily only have to apply medicine!yay!!!
And yeah..then only I know chicken eye is actually known as CORNS or WARTS!

At last I'm back in here. ;)

Well..i've gone through weeks of frustations, miserable, happy, busy,....its all mixed up!

The first day when I was in college was damn miserable~

I don't know anyone there..deep in me, I started to blame my family for forcing and wanting me to study in penang but I'm guilty for thinking in this way.they just doing it for the sake of me... ^^

The first person I spoke to in college is Zi-QIan but we call her as Sasha.hehe.

This semester I'm taking Accounting, Economy, Management, Business Info System and MALAYSIAN STUDIES!

Among this subjects, I like management lecturer the most, Mr.Beh.

He has those ohm to teach and I don't feel sleepy in his class.

I like economy when I was in form 6 but now I don't like it.maybe I don't like his way of teaching though he is quite funny and try to make his class alive.

Accounting is quite nice and for BIS, I think the lecturer is good and damn funny but I'm sorry, this subject is too boring..I can't help but to fall asleep in his class.as for malaysian studies...aish....speechlesss =_=''''

....and hey.

1 hour of class equals to RM54.means for every 1 hour class that we attend, we are actually spending RM54.LOL.some of my coursemates counted this!HAHA.

Thinking of this amount makes me awake in class. XD

Anyway..my coursemates all are nice and friendly and FUNNY! =))

As some of u might know, I am going to Inti International College Penang to study.
Though it is not my choice, now I'm getting over it. =)
In case I cannot get to online there, I think is better for me to blog about it first.
Well..my class will start on tomorrow which means on the 27th of July.
I'm taking bachelor of commerce majoring in accounting & finance. =)

Goshh...I'm leaving in a few more hours time. :(
Penang is very near to Taiping but I will miss my home a lot.
I will miss out my tv shows.huhu.maybe won't get to online in room.saddening.

I actually should blog about this 1 week ago but don't have the mood to do so.
Seems like the risk that I was taking doesn't pay off.haha.

On the 19th of June at 12p.m., we actually can check our future university through sms or online.
I have to check it through sms as I was working at the MPH Bookfair.
When chunkit got to know that he get UMK which is universiti malaysia KELANTAN, I sensed something was wrong.I'm scared and nervous.I can't concentrate the whole morning.
Many questions run through my mind.
WHat if I didn't get any U?What if I didn't get what I want?How to tell my mum?etc etc...

I sent a few times to 15888..and........when I get the message..........UMK....are u kidding me?
HAHAHAHA.my hand was shaking hard and I started to cry.at MCD.wkit checked for me and I get Keusahawanan Kesihatan....??I've got no idea what hell course is that.

Disappointment, sadness, upset, anger, hurt, feeling lost,...all these fills up within me.
Struggling hard in form 6 and this is the outcome that I get.
Seriously damn fed up and pissed off.
Once u decided to study form 6, obviously u don't have the right to decide your future anymore because it all depends on luck and what course u get from the government.
Seems like not much students get the course that they want.some didnt even get any university though their results are ok.
Everything seems to be so funny and ridiculous. ^^

So.....
Did I make the wrong or the right choice for rejecting usm?
Is it worth for me to take the risk?
Honestly speaking..I didn't feel regret for rejecting usm.
But I do feel regret for applying usm.
I wonder what would I get if I didn't apply usm..hmm...

Anyway past is the past.
Though my mum and sis kept on blame me for rejecting usm(as what I expected), but they're all okie now.sis even sent me one very touching long message.thanks sis!
Thanks for respecting my decision and being so supportive! =)))

I took two risk within these few months.
Both the risk gave me great disappointment.
I don't think I am a good risk taker.haha.
But it'll make me a stronger person.
I know...this is not the end of everything.

Redang trip

...is what I'm going to blog about today.. ;)

Well..as I've mentioned earlier, I went to Redang for 3 days 2 nights.from 27-29.05.09.

For your info, we booked our resort through online and we stayed in Redang Reef Resort.

Each of us has to pay RM300 for the accomodation.food is provided.it includes breakfast, lunch, teatime and dinner and not forgetting 3 sessions of snorkeling in 3 different places.

And RM160 for transportation.to and fro from Taiping to Merang Jetty. =)

The 8 of us; hueywen, chunkit, shuying, kuangyau, weichian, elynn, tung keat and ME heading straight from Taiping to Merang Jetty at 12.30a.m. whereas vj, fuhyuen and seklun started their journey from KL to Terengganu. =)

It was a long journey man.It took me quite long to fall asleep in the bus because I was too excited!!4 hours of sleeping throughout the 7 hours journey.

We reached the jetty at around 7.30a.m..at last!!phewww~~That was where we meet up with vj they all. =)

Everything was kinda messed up before we took a boat to our resort.

Oh yea..the boat was so bumpy when it hits the wave.
It was kinda scary and it turned out to be fun!!!hehe.
Finally at around 10.30a.m.. we reached our Redang Reef Resort~~

Tell u what..I can't believe in my own eyes when I saw the beach.crystal clear blue water really existed in Malaysia.hehe.It was amazing and NICE!!

U can really see the rocks and the fishes without have the needs to wear your own spectacles to have a clearer view.and the blue cloudy sky is so matching with the colour of the sea! ^^
I feel like jumping into it! (I know.I'm scared! )

We then have our lunch at 12p.m. before our first snokerling session at 2.30p.m..
Actually, I am not satisfied with the food provided but nevermind.hehe.
Some of us practised on how to breathe with our mouth when we are wearing the mask with the breathing pipe.hehe.
I know it sounds stupid but hey it was quite tough okiee..haha.
At first I was kinda worried about the snorkeling session.I can't swim.I don't know how to float on the water either.HAHA.
I know we're not gonna drown because we are wearing the life jacket.it keeps us floating but as usual, I'm scared when my feet can't reach anything.
I kept on laughing and laughing when I was practising.HAHAHA.
Luckily hueywen was beside me all the time.LOL.tq tq! :p

Then off we went to Marine Park for our first snorkeling.
No pictures taken there. :(
It was fun!!heeeheee.. ^^
A lot of colourful fishes swimming around us.I saw Nemo too!!
This was my first time swimming(should be floating) around with fishes! =)))
It was amazing.truly amazing.
U can feel the calmness when u saw the fishes swimming around u.its like u're entering another world.how nice!!
The 1 hour session passed very fast indeed.
It was quite tiring though.hehe.

Well..at night after our dinner, we went for a stroll along the redang beach.

It is so happening there.
Laguna resort is so 5 star-ishh...!so nice!!how I wish I could stay there!! :(
ANyway we were actually looking for the More More Tea Inn but to our much frustatation, we couldn't find it.so disappointed!
But as we were walking back to our resort, we found it!!thanks to ckit.HAHAHA.
It is so near to our resort but we didn't even realised it.
Come all the way to redang, of course must take some pictures with the more more tea signboard and the love shape flowers!! :p =)))

Yesterday I reached taiping at 5.40p.m..
I was freaking tired and dizzy because of the stupid bus and yet I felt happy because I've reached taiping.
I'm feeling sad at the same time because I'm back from redang island.
I miss redang and the people who make this trip a wonderful one. =)
I will post about it later, k?

Because I am now facing a dilemma.
I received a message through my handphone after I get in my car when my brother fetched me from bus stop.
A notification from USM saying "Tahniah, anda ditawarkan Ijazah Sarjana Muda Komunikasi di USM."
Goshh..I don't know whether I am happy or sad.I'm not even smiling when I was reading that message.
Before this I never knew that they will give the priority for USM to choose the students first. :(
By 31st of May,5p.m. I have to reply them whether I want to accept or reject that course.hello.......I thought newspaper stated they will give us 1 week time??
SIgh.....

Should I or should I not... :(
WHen I woke up just now, the first thing in my mind is about this.damn!

I was playing Fish Wrangler in facebook.
It reminds me of my dad.haha.
Last two days, my dad went to Lumut(i think) for fishing.with my brother in law as well.
It is his hobby.his all time favourite.he can be out at the sea for a few days rather than go travel for a few days.
He rather spend RM270 on 3 days 2 nights fishing trip.haha.
He has those good fishing tools.he even own one automatic fishing rod which is so costly!!(give me that money to shop better!LOL)
Too bad this time he only get to catch some small small ikan.
My mum purposely teased him by saying with that RM270, she can buy a few ikan besar already.LOL.

My mummy is feeling a little emo now.
She missed my grandma and suddenly I'm thinking of her now.
She has passed away last 2 years.24th of February 2007.
No one was with her when she was sent to heaven.
Until now, my mum still feel sad that she wasn't by her side when she breathe out her last breath and it was bothering her a lot..

My mum questioned me.
Why do we have to die?
Omg.I never thought she would think this kind of thing.
She couldn't find an answer for it.
She feels funny and weird why do people come and go.
Why do we have to lost someone we love when they pass away..they would be disappeared from our life completely..totally gone.
Why do we have to get married and have children as we have to leave them one day.
Just like my grandma..she has children but why no one was with her when she passed away..(this was what my mum thinking!i am totally her gene!!think too much gene!LOL )

I remained silent.
I don't know what to say at all.
It is complicated.
It depends on how u think, right?

Is it good to be mummy's little girl forever?
It sounds good...but in fact not too good.
I want my mum to love me.to pamper me.to care me but not in a way which makes me feel that she is overprotective.
Yes.she is.
I think in her mind, I'm seventeen forever.
I know u might think that I'm bad for whatever decision she has done is for my own good and it shows that she really did care for me.
But I need some freedom too.
I want her to know that I am no longer a small little girl and I've learnt how to be independent.
I thought I could get the freedom that I'm longing for after I worked at Genting but no.
I still go out with her for a breakfast, for a lunch in MCD, shop with her, watch tv with her,bla bla bla..I still love her no matter what..
But I just need a little bit of freedom from her.
She worried too much over a small thing and continue with her naggings each time before I go out to somewhere.
I feel bad for saying this.I'm sorry...sigh...
Should I blame it on the society these days for creating so many unnecessary cases?

Something interesting and funny that I found out from shuying about her thoughts on one topic.
This topic just came in to our conversations when we are talking about GIRLS.
Shuying once heard a phrase saying, "There are no ugly woman in this world..."

Then as usual....she started to talk and talk and talk like nobody's business..
She says there are no ugly girl or woman in this world but there are 3 categories of woman.

The first one is Lazy Girl/Woman.
This type of girls are just too lazy to dress up themselves to look pretty or attractive.
They don't mind to look messy.
They don't spend their time matching up their clothes and choose the clothes from their wardrobe for hours before they go out.
They don't have much facial or skin products.
They just don't care much to take care of their own physical look.

The second type of girl is No Money Girl.LOL.
They wanted to be pretty and stylish.
They desperately wanna go for facial treatments, buy branded clothes, update their closet every month, buy some skin products, etc.
BUT........
They don't have the money to do so..sound so miserable and pathetic huh?
They are not affordable to own or purchase something that they want to make them look pretty from outside.

Lastly....not forgetting the third type of woman...
This is a bit mean la but no offence.
The third one would be Bad Feature Woman.
They are not lazy.They have the money....
But they have bad features on their physical look.maybe they have a big nose, small eyes, crooked teeth, round face, big face or whatever it is...(no offence!just some examples)
They can't do much about it to change it.

When shuying said all these, I was laughing like hell because the way she describes them are so funny..imagine...with her exaggerate expressions and tones...plus with her loud voice....

But whatever it is, this is just some silly topic.hehe.
Inner beauty is what matter the most right?
Even if u don't think yourself is pretty or attractive, don't be upset or lose all the confidence in u.
If u lose it, u will fail to bring up yourself or to impress people around u.
Believe in yourself.believe in your own ability. =)
We are all pretty and beautiful in our own way!

I went to watch X-Men again....this is the second time i'm watching it.with ah khey, judy, fatima, sue fern and niwa. =)

I love Logan the Wolverine.(not LAGON!oh my!!!LOL) very man!haha.and I love Zero as well.not Zerro!hopefully u won't see this.haha. :p

Zero aka Daniel Henney is so good looking(the real life Zerro is good looking too.LOL) and so cool when he started to take his guns out and shoot shoot shoot.LOL.fatima is so attracted to him but ending up don't like him because he plays a bad guy character.haha.

I'm desperate for Pokok Assam's laksa.

I am a number 1 fan of laksa!I won't be bored even if I have to eat laksa everyday.haha.

Today I wanted to eat laksa actually though I am still having my period but all these while, I don't care about this.I still drink cold drinks, eat sour and spicy food when my period come.

I don't feel like eating my mum's cooking today.sorry mummy.

So, my mum fetched me to buy laksa from casual market(correct me if I'm wrong) because Pokok Assam is a little too far.she has been so nice today.hehe.usually she won't fetch me because she is lazy and luckily she didn't scold me because I don't want to eat the food she has cooked. ^^

............but too bad..both the laksa stalls are closed.bodoh!

So disappointed. :(

What to do...thus i bought some kuihs and ais kacang from my favourite stall. =)

As usual, i have period pain again....together with a headache.it is killing me!!

I spend most of my time sleeping today.feel very tired and that's the only way to ease my pain.

No pill works on me when I have period pain.unfair.only girls need to go through this kind of pain! =(

Anyway I just watched The Day The Earth Stood Still.didn't get to watch it in the cinema last time.not really nice as what I expected.

But I love Keanu Reeves.he is so cool and attractive!!

Oh yeah..I went to Giant this morning to buy body shampoo and I met Din there.so happy to meet him again.he was working at Fajar Kamunting last time and there is where I knew him.He is a cashier now and guess what..he gave me employee rate.that's why I feel weird how come it is cheaper than it should be.so sweet of him!!

....and again after I went to Sow Ann's house to hand her the report, I went to Lake Garden.just feel like going.for the fun of it.driving around Lake Garden..started to take pictures while I'm driving.again.hehe.Well..the cloudy sky is too nice and too blue..looks nice with all the trees.. =)

Today is a Labour Day.a day to be celebrated all over the world (right??) to appreciate the hardwork and contributions of all the workers in this world.

Thus, it is a public holiday...so there are sales in shopping malls..!

So that explain why I went to Ipoh with my sis and mum today.of cos together with my two naughty but lovely niece.

The main purpose is to get them a swimming suit actually.haha.

Anyway today I didn't buy anything except for a Vincci bracelet which cost me RM25.

I've tried some clothes in MNG and Padini Concept Store but it turned out to be not nice. =(

Too many people squeezed up in a shop makes me don't feel like buying anything also.that is the disadvantage of shopping during a public holiday.

That is why today I spend most of my time playing and walking around with my 2 niece.haha.it was fun and funny!

I bought 2 scoops of Baskin Robbins; citrus twist ice and pink&purple and shared with the both of them which cost me RM18.90.really enjoying eating with them.haha.

Anyway before we go back home, we bought Big Apple's donuts. I have some coupons with me.i got it the last time I went to Ipoh with Suhian they all.
Purchase any 6 donuts then they will give another 3 free donuts.woohoooo~~!!

Today I spent most on food which is weird!

I am tired.sleepy.after this I am going to sleep.wow..it is only 11.30p.m..i never sleep this early since don't know when.anyway i love the trip to Ipoh today though I didn't manage to buy anything.thanks to my two adorable niece!They are making me laughing the whole day when I walk with them.seems like this is the first time ever I bring them walking around myself and I asked them to say "handsome boy" to a clown.hahaha.

On 17th of April , i went to JPJ myself to renew aka upgrade my licence.
I paid RM60 for 2 years duration of my licence.

Actually there is an advantage of having a P sticker sticks on your car because others can't blame you for driving slow or recklessly.haha.
So now i don't have any excuses anymore.need to drive carefully already.but anyway I reckon myself as a good driver. :p

today two of my friends purposely came to my house and bring me to go out...
it was 1.30 pm and i was still sleeping but they disturbed me!!!grrrrr....!!
at first i was quite angry.i don't like people to disturb me when i was sleeping!!!
i have to wake up and bathed and they bring me to mcd as i haven't eat yet then went to starbucks to online~~~
i wonder what is so nice about starbucks.i don't drink coffee.it makes me headache.hence i orded 1 ice blended raspberry blackcurrant i think.not bad actually.
then i online there and shu ying busy with her viwawa's game and chun kit seeing the both of us online..my whole day is just busy online. =_='''

i met suhian and victoren at mcd and starbucks too.i was really happy to see the both of them. =)
miss lepaking with them.they were really nice guys.gentleman i should say.
when we wanna go back home, something funny and embarassing happened.
the starbucks supervisor, a chinese guy who is vic's friend, he asked rong shyn(1 of the workers there) to give me a hot chocolate drink for free.i was like...phew....damn malu...i didn't even say thanks to him.kinda rude la but if i have the chance next time, i'll for sure thank him for the hot chocolate.
but anyway i'm happy that i get a free hot chocolate which costs around rm11.50 and it shows that i still have some attractions.i know i am damn perasan but who don't?

Cheng Beng ---> family gathering

Last saturday i went for cheng beng with my family to pray for my grandpa(i never see him before! ) and grandma.
actually to be honest, i don't know what cheng beng is all about.
i just know every year we'll go to the grave sites to pray for them and offer some foods, tea, wine..?, paper accessories as in those paper shoes, money, shirts, etc,...
i think it is a day to remember and honor one's ancestor at grave sites but i think it is more to family reunion with the ancestors, don't u think so?
every family will gather at the grave site and pray together, clean up the surroundings and after the worship(??) they will start eating the food they brought for the worship.

Luckily i went for cheng beng because this year only me and another 3 cousins went.i think my grandma and grandpa must be disappointed.imagine.my grandma has 7 sons and 4 daughters....i have so many cousins but only 4 of us attended for the cheng beng.i remembered last few years ago, many of them went until there were no place for us to stand but this year....sigh...not my familys' tradition anymore.i felt so guilty that morning because i actually have the thought of not going also. =(
oh ya.we even put firecrackers for twice!hehe. ;)

Anyway i do agree that our original cultures and traditions are significant in our life but it is fading away each year.every occasions has its own meaning.as for me, i think cheng beng is really a right time for a family gathering.don't u think so???

that is my main activities everyday...
last time busy study..now busy with eating and sleeping..great..such a "healthy" lifestyle huh?
i put on weight and that makes me don't feel like shopping.
just like the other day..i went to pelita...i ordered 1 plate of mee goreng, roti pisang and roti bom and i finish it all by myself!! =(
...and the first thing i think about after i wake up is food!!!
yesterday while i'm wathing that hong kong drama the gems of life, i'm enjoying eating honey stars, some biscuits, muruku, lolipops, ice-creams,....to stop myself from eating those fattening food, i hunt for fruits!!goshhh....come to think about it, it is scary!!!
my mum was like staring at me 1 kind when i keep on walk to the kitchen to hunt for food and teased me saying that i'm gonna be a fatty!
i think i really would if i continue eating like this...
